We launched our checking account debit card product in Q1’22 and are growing very quickly.

Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
- You’ll own all operational accounting functions, including: bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, banking & cash management, taxes, contract reviews/approvals, and cap table management
- You’ll assist in implementing an accounting system that will support us as we continue to scale
- You’ll prepare internal and external financial statements
- You’ll prepare Seis for its first audit & help manage us through the process
- You’ll work closely with partners and vendors, ensuring settlements are handled timely and are reconciled
- You’ll work closely with leadership & have a voice in important financial decisions
- You’ll understand the financials of the company in order to meet legal/regulatory requirements and keep the financial state in good standing
- You’ll be an expert in the technical accounting relevant to banking and financial services
- You’ll implement and evaluate accounting and internal control systems
- We have the accounting/reporting infrastructure necessary to enable scale without slowing us down
- You understand our financials so deeply that you raise warning flags well in advance of an issue
- The books are closed in a timely manner, reviewed and audited
- We pass our first audit with flying colors!
- You have 6-10 years of relevant accounting experience
- You have deep technical accounting expertise in banking / financial services, specifically in payments
- You have an urgency about you, and understand that speed is a foundational pre-requisite for the company to grow fast
- You are an extreme owner and results oriented - you make things happen and don’t make excuses
- You’re happy to bounce back and forth between being a strategic financial advisor and a bookkeeper
- You are an optimizer - using numbers & data to constantly improve, find new ways to win, etc.
- You have familiarity with banking products such as ACH, International Wires, SWIFT, checks, and debit/credit cards
