Job Summary: The overall purpose of the Production Assistant position is to support team members during peak workloads and cross train to fill any positions. You will also learn to help maintain tracking for samples, provide analysis and comparison reports, and updating product line lists. The specific day-to-day duties may include but is not limited to assisting master scheduler with projections, assist finished goods buyer with PO management, and assist with production meeting minutes and timelines.
Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain Sample Tracking for Pre-line, Salesman Samples and Size Runs ensuring product is available for catalog photoshoot, sales meetings, and QC reference sets.
· Provide Percent to Plan analysis relating to factories on time delivery and quality.
· Create factories 3-year comparison based on volume.
· Update both Line List and Placement documents per Executive direction.
· Assist Master Scheduler with Build Sheet Creation ensuring correct quantities are projected.
· Assist Finished Goods Buyer with Purchase Order Maintenance including creation and updating ensuring factory, price, quantity, ship method and planned ship dates are correct.
· Maintain part numbers in ERP system relating to promo, sample, inline, bulk and closeout.
· Provide color analysis showing what colorways / prints were successful for prior year.
· Ensure Business Partner catalog is up to date annually.
· Assist with weekly Production Meeting Minutes and Timeline updates ensuring department is on track to meet milestones throughout the year.
