Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Leather Technician based in Milwaukee, WI. The Leather Technician will be responsible for overseeing leather production and quality assurance processes, performing lab tests, and assisting in leather coloring and finishing methods. Daily responsibilities include monitoring product quality, troubleshooting production issues, ensuring adherence to environmental standards, and collaborating with team members to meet customer specifications efficiently. The role also involves maintaining equipment and documenting production activities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of leather production processes, tanning, and finishing techniques
- Experience in conducting lab tests and ensuring quality control for leather products
- Technical and mechanical skills for operating and maintaining equipment
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to follow environmental and safety standards
