Food Runner – Job Description
The Food Runner supports service execution at SEIA by ensuring food is delivered to tables accurately, promptly, and with proper presentation. This role plays a key part in maintaining service pace and quality by coordinating closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Your Responsibilities:
• Deliver food from the kitchen to tables promptly, accurately, and in accordance with SEIA presentation standards.
• Verify dishes against tickets to ensure correct items, modifications, and allergens are properly handled.
• Communicate with Captains and Server Assistants regarding table numbers, timing, and special instructions.
• Support plate presentation and placement at the table as directed by service leadership.
• Assist with clearing plates between courses in coordination with service pacing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of runner stations, pass areas, and service corridors.
• Support opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Uphold SEIA service standards, presentation, and hospitality expectations at all times.
