Bartender – Job Description

The Bartender at SEIA is responsible for delivering refined, consistent, and well-executed beverage service that complements the overall dining and club experience. This role requires technical proficiency, strong menu knowledge, and polished guest interaction while maintaining precision, composure, and alignment with SEIA’s service standards.

Your Responsibilities:

•           Prepare and execute all cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with SEIA standards and recipes.

•           Demonstrate mastery of the beverage menu, including ingredients, techniques, flavor profiles, and proper presentation.

•           Engage guests at the bar with professionalism and warmth, guiding selections and answering questions with confidence.

•           Coordinate closely with Captains and service teams to support timely and accurate beverage service for the dining room and club.

•           Uphold beverage standards and recipes as developed by bar leadership, ensuring consistency across all service periods.

•           Assist with bar setup and breakdown, ensuring workstations are fully stocked, organized, and clean.

•           Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar, tools, glassware, and surrounding guest-facing areas throughout service.

•           Monitor bar pacing and ticket flow to ensure consistent service quality during peak periods.

•           Maintain strong product knowledge across cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic offerings to support guest guidance.

•           Communicate inventory needs, shortages, or quality concerns to bar leadership in a timely manner.

•           Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and comply with all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

•           Support opening and closing procedures, including mise en place, restocking, and breakdown.

•           Adhere to SEIA service language, presentation standards, and hospitality expectations at all times.

Your Qualifications:

•           2 years of experience as a bartender in a fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-end cocktail environment.

•           Strong technical skills across classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar fundamentals.

•           Ability to learn and consistently execute complex cocktail and beverage programs.

•           Polished communication skills and strong guest awareness.

•           Ability to remain composed, organized, and efficient during active service periods.

•           Strong attention to detail and pride in execution.

•           Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

•           A genuine passion for hospitality, beverages, and craft.
