JOB DESCRIPTION: Sehlke Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates that will lead a team of subject matter experts located in multiple geographic areas that, in conjunction with Marine Corps Logistics Command Supply Chain Management Center’s mission of strategic logistics services planning and Continuous Process Improvements, will provide inventory management augmentation to accomplish the continued logistics support mission to enhance Fleet Marine Force readiness and sustainability objectives.
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide and maintain overall responsibility for the program ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within quality standards.
- Provide leadership for a at least 25 full time employees by ensuring adequate and qualified staffing for all functional areas and geographic locations.
- Provide necessary liaison requirements with client ensuring all objectives are being met within compliance and facilitating all program improvements.
- Ability to plan, organize, and deliver complex support requirements within timeliness and budget.
- Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Any certifications that apply to related previously mentioned tasks.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five (5) years. To be creditable, specialized experience must demonstrate accomplishment of integrated logistics and support assignments that required a range of knowledge of logistics or supply requirements and techniques.
- Possess and documented successful Project Lead experience managing government contract projects.
- Possess successful Marine Corps supply and maintenance experience as it relates to wholesale and retail Secondary Reparable management.
- Possess expert communication and facilitation skills at all levels
- Possess successful experience providing oversight and managing geographically separated personnel supporting global Marine Corps logistics activities.
- Possess proven ability to deliver complex support requirements in meeting PWS requirements on time and within budget.
- Possess strong experience in operating effectively in challenging operational and fiscal environments.
OPERATIONALLY FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AD THEIR INTERACTION, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT REQUIRE ACCESS TO:
- SABRS
- SMARTS
- GCSS-MC
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel may be required at least two weeks per year.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills.
