Job Summary:
The Software Testing Intern (Product Validation) supports product testing and validation activities through structured training and supervised hands-on experience. This internship is designed to provide exposure to software and product testing processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on skill development, technical learning, and practical application of testing methodologies under the guidance of experienced team members.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute predefined test cases under supervision in accordance with technical documentation and established testing procedures.
- Assist in configuring test environments and preparing devices and systems for testing activities.
- Collect system logs and diagnostic data to support issue identification and troubleshooting efforts.
- Support the reproduction of technical issues under guidance and accurately document findings, including steps, conditions, and observed results.
- Prepare clear and structured documentation of testing activities, issue details, and system behavior for review by senior team members.
- Learn and operate PC-based software tools and testing systems following instructions and basic command-line inputs.
- Assist in troubleshooting common technical issues by following documented procedures and escalation guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to share testing results and support issue tracking and resolution.
- Communicate technical findings clearly with cross-functional teams, including international teams, under guidance.
- Maintain organized records of test results, configurations, and issue logs to support traceability and reporting.
- Follow established quality assurance standards, processes, and documentation practices.
- Participate in team discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and feedback cycles to enhance learning and performance.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology preferred, or equivalent coursework and technical experience with an expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
- Proficient in Chinese (written and verbal communication required).
- Familiarity with smartphones, Windows, and Mac operating systems, and general smart device usage.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and basic code or command-line instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and reproduce issues.
- Logical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with micromobility products such as e-scooters, bicycles, or e-bikes is preferred.
- Basic understanding of U.S. traffic regulations and user riding behaviors is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.

Work Authorization:
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. This internship may be eligible for CPT or OPT authorization for qualified F-1 or J-1 international students.
