Multi-Instrumental Music Instructor

Seguin Music Shed is looking for a versatile, reliable, and engaging music instructor to join our team. We are a community-focused school dedicated to providing high-quality music education, and we need an instructor who can inspire students across multiple disciplines.

The Role

We are specifically seeking a Multi-Instrumentalist capable of teaching at least two instruments. Expertise in Drums and Guitar is the priority for this position. You will be responsible for guiding students from their very first notes through intermediate technical proficiency.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position with immediate openings for the following shifts:

• Mondays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesdays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual instruction tailored to each student’s goals and learning style.
• Teach fundamental techniques, music theory, and repertoire for both drums and guitar.
• Maintain a professional, encouraging, and organized learning environment.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with the school management.

Requirements

• Multi-Instrumental Proficiency: Must be able to teach at least two instruments (Drums and Guitar preferred) at a beginner and intermediate level.
• Teaching Experience: Prior experience in music instruction is preferred, but we value technical skill and the ability to connect with students.
• Reliability: Punctuality is essential for our scheduled lesson blocks.
• Communication: Ability to break down complex musical concepts for younger students or adult beginners.
