Role Description The Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Andover, MA, responsible for helping clients identify and secure appropriate insurance coverage. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with individuals and businesses to assess risk and coverage needs, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and managing policy applications, renewals, and changes. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, responding to inquiries, resolving service issues, and coordinating with carriers to ensure smooth underwriting and claims experiences. The Insurance Agent will also support business development through prospecting, networking, and follow-up, while documenting activities in agency systems and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and ethically.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage, including working with multiple carriers to compare products and negotiate solutions.
- Background or strong interest in Finance, with the ability to discuss premiums, deductibles, and broader financial implications.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and timely follow-up with diverse client populations.
- Relevant state insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
