Restaurant Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to maintain seamless service.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining environment; banquet experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS; familiarity with cashiering and food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol serving regulations, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math scenarios confidently.
• Experience in brewing or hospitality industries is desirable; night club or catering background can be advantageous. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a lively hospitality setting while honing their bartending expertise!

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
