Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to maintain seamless service.
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining environment; banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS; familiarity with cashiering and food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol serving regulations, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math scenarios confidently.
