What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Administrator position at SEGA SAMMY CREATION?
Primary Function
The Production Administrator will support operations and production team members/leaders. The primary responsibility of a Production Administrator includes planning and coordinating production and service-related tasks. The position will be working with production and operation teams to deliver a quality experience in a timely manner.
Essential Duties
- Request and coordinate quotes as needed.
- Order Parts and Supplies
- Lead time/ETA confirmation for Parts delivery.
- Create Purchase Orders and issue for approvals (from EVP of Global Operations or Production Manager)
- Issue signed Purchase Orders to vendors.
- Monitor outstanding orders for on-time delivery.
- Process invoices for payment.
- Complete all data entry required on the inventory/ purchasing Excel.
- Confirm all material delivery forms – Quantities received.
- Allocate cabinets and link controllers' serial numbers for the sales order
- Contact and verify the required Peripheral specs with the Operators and input the corresponding data into the Serial number Master sheet
- Complete all data required on the serial number master sheet, including the scheduled date for Installs/Conversions
- Confirm completion report for installation and game conversion and update master sheet as needed
- Coordinate parts request shipments when necessary
- Complete and issue Work Orders per Process for Production Orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Input into the PO Log the Receipt information
- Coordinate RMA Processing and PO’s for Out of Warranty cases per Process
- Assist in Inventory Control
- Pick, Pack, Coordinate Shipments when necessary
- Confirm completion report for installation and game conversion and update master sheet as needed
- Additional tasks as needed.
Desired Experiences and Qualifications
- Experience in sales support or customer service role
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and database programs
- Willingness to always comply with all safety guidelines
- Good communication skills (oral & written) and able to report to immediate supervisors for necessary matters
