About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This early-career position plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth financial operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the optimization of financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, vendor management, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Purchase Orders & Invoices: Process and manage purchase orders, invoices, credit card transactions, and reimbursements with precision and timeliness.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including onboarding new vendors and managing invoicing communications.
- Email Management: Monitor and manage virtual email inboxes to ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
- Accounting Support: Assist in transaction accounting mapping, accounting book syncing, reporting, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the design and implementation of streamlined financial operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial System Mastery: Learn and become proficient in using the Seen Health system to independently create and process purchase orders and bills for approval.
- Chart of Accounts: Gain a deep understanding of the company's chart of accounts and accurately map transactions for accounting book syncing
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software/tools (experience with Ramp, Sage Intacct or similar accounting / bookkeeping software is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
Location
- Los Angeles required. Ability to commute to Alhambra required.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000-$85,000 annually
