POSITION SUMMARY
Provide daily labor tasks assigned by the department supervisor. A Chemical Operator will perform production duties such as drum labeling, product palletizing, product sampling, setup for packaging, bag filling, drum filling, operate plant equipment, housekeeping and other related duties as instructed by the department supervisor. Inform department supervision of work in progress to assure the production schedule is maintained. Comply with all regulatory compliance and ISO-9001 quality procedures.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a high school or equivalent education
- Must have 1 year experience in forklift operations
- Be physically capable of climbing ladders and lift 50 pounds
- Be able to climb ladder
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely and properly use personal protective equipment.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

- Perform daily production tasks for the blending, drumming and bagging departments
- Retrieve material and supplies needed for the daily production schedule
- Operate necessary material handling equipment to service customer accounts
- Read service orders and accurately follow written instruction
- Work in a cooperative manner with fellow employees
- Inform the department supervisor of non-conformance issues in accordance the with the ISO-9001 quality program
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with regulatory training
A Chemical Operator does have the opportunity to move up into the Blender role once they understand how the process works.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
