JOB SUMMARY
As one of the fastest growing firms in the energy waste reduction movement, SEEL (Solutions for Energy Efficient Logistics) provides holistic residential and commercial program management solutions for utility and municipal clients throughout the country. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced director to supervise our facility and fleet operations with SEEL’s administrative and executive team.
The Supervisor – Facilities and Fleet Operations is responsible for overseeing company building maintenance, supervising a general laborer, and managing the organization’s fleet operations. This role ensures facilities are clean, safe, and functional, while also maintaining compliance with all fleet policies and systems. The supervisor will monitor tools such as Verizon Connect, Enterprise Fleet Management, and SEEL’s internal fleet tracking tools to support maintenance schedules, vehicle assignments, and usage compliance.
Additionally, this position will serve as a backup support for field work in energy efficiency programs, stepping in when necessary to assist with operational continuity due to staff absences or increased workload.
This position requires an individual who is organized, dependable, and solutions-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision and Oversight
- Lead all maintenance and onsite project jobs for all SEEL facilities.
- Supervise the General Laborer and oversee day-to-day assignments.
- Conduct weekly check-ins, provide task direction, and ensure completion of maintenance and support duties.
- Review and prioritize facility work orders and maintenance requests.
Fleet Management
- Monitor vehicle assignments, usage, and maintenance via Verizon Connect.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Fleet Management and internal systems to ensure timely service, repairs, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, fuel logs, and inspections.
- Address issues proactively and ensure vehicle readiness across field operations.
Facility Management
- Oversee maintenance of SEEL’s physical locations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Coordinate with janitorial services, building vendors, and staff to resolve facility-related issues.
- Support office moves, renovations, and general upkeep projects.
- Ensure supply closets, storage rooms, and break areas are well stocked and maintained.
- Give leadership and management to the janitorial team.
Field Support (as needed)
- Serve as backup to support energy efficiency field crews when staff call-offs occur.
- Assist with building science-related tasks and equipment movement or setup.
- Provide logistical and administrative assistance to field team leaders.
