As we scale, we're looking for someone to help integrate AI, automation, and innovative tools into our operations, sales, and marketing functions, supporting our transition into a fully technology-driven roofing company.

Position Overview

The Director of AI & Automation will identify opportunities to implement AI and automation across the organization and build systems that streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance performance. This role partners closely with leadership, sales, marketing, production, and operations teams and is an in-office position based in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Implementation: Identify areas where AI can improve efficiency; deploy AI tools to automate repetitive tasks; build systems supporting documentation, communication, reporting, and workflows.
• Workflow Automation: Design automations connected to CRM and operational platforms; streamline lead management, job tracking, and customer communication; reduce administrative workloads.
• Systems Integration: Connect and optimize internal platforms; build dashboards with actionable insights; improve data flow and visibility between departments.
• AI Strategy & Innovation: Stay current on AI tools; recommend technology that drives business value; train teams on effective AI usage.
• Technology Leadership: Serve as the internal AI/automation expert; support longterm tech strategy; help implement scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Required: Experience implementing AI or automation tools in a business environment; strong knowledge of automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.); API and systems integration experience; strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills; ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Preferred Background: Startup operations, SaaS environments, automation consulting, or revenue operations - areas known for high reliance on automation, integrations, and scalable systems.

Compensation

Base Salary: $65,000–$90,000 per year

Performance Bonuses: Based on successful automation and efficiency improvements
