Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a live-out nanny with child development skills to create a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment children. We currently have a full time nanny and looking for another full time as well. We have two children 3, 5 and another baby on the way. Our current children are involved in a lot of activities so you will be required to have a good driving record. Nanny will be responsible for all task related to caring for our children including physically and mentally.

We guarantee full times hours, paid vacation, paid holidays.

We need someone with a flexible schedule be able to work at least 45 hours per week.

Duties

• Able to follow and implement mother goose curriculum with toddler
• Carefully research and propose age-appropriate local activities, register attendance and accompany to activities;
• Carefully research appropriate milestones and best tools to reach milestones;
• Must have a passion for child development;
• Must be a self-starter, hardworking and dedicated to the family;
• Must be organized, warm, caring and patient and a good communicator;
• Prepare breakfast, lunch and (dinner if necessary);
• Able to prepare fresh and health snacks daily;
• Transport children to and from weekly activities and outings (family provide the transportation);
• Clean and sanitize child room before leaving and after play dates;
• Wash fold/hang kids laundry weekly;
• Reliable and punctual;
• Good communication skills;
• Willing and able to get on the floor to play daily;
• Must have or be willing to get a passport at family expense if you don’t currently have a passport;
• Light housekeeping;
• Swimming skills are preferred;
• Only use your personal cellar phone while kids are asleep;
• Ability to take direction and feedback;
• Order groceries and put them away;
• Cooking skills are definitely preferred.
• Duties could change based on family need;
• Collaborate with parents and assist with developmental milestones and to follow specific care instructions and provide regular updates on the child's progress
• Guaranteed full-time hours
• One-week paid vacation to use within the first year of employment (eligible after 6 months of hire)

Qualifications

• 3 years of full-time nanny experience in private home is preferred
• Bachelors Degree and/or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or related field preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Willing to complete a background check, child abuse registry check and drug screening
• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers on milestones
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare responsibilities
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and caregivers
• Passion for nurturing children’s growth in a safe, supportive environment

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
