What are the responsibilities and job description for the Victim Advocate (Swing Shift) position at SEEKHAVEN Family Crisis & Resource Center?
The Victim Advocate role is dedicated to offering inclusive support for individuals impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence, with a focus on acute care. This includes delivering mobile advocacy services and facilitating referrals to counseling, housing, and shelter services.
Additionally, the advocate will provide essential legal and medical support, including accompanying survivors to forensic exams, playing a critical role in providing comprehensive care. Collaboration with other Victim Advocates, the Shelter Manager, and the Transition Specialist is key to ensuring a cohesive approach in meeting the diverse needs of clients across Grand, Emery, and San Juan counties.
This role is on a swing shift schedule and is a 30 hour per week role.
Must pass a criminal background check.
