The Indigenous Community Coordinator (ICC) is responsible for providing prevention education to Native American youth and supporting Native American clients in Grand, Emery and San Juan Counties. This role emphasizes building strong community partnerships, coordinating outreach and referrals, and collaborating with other Native American programs to ensure effective services. The Coordinator will advocate for cultural needs and healing opportunities, deliver educational presentations, and foster community relationships. Working closely with the Outreach & Shelter Departments and reporting to the Director of Prevention and Education, the Coordinator will contribute to department meetings and program success while maintaining strict confidentiality.
