Job Location – Milwaukee, WI

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift (6:30am-3pm) Mon-Fri or 2nd shift (1pm-9pm) Mon-Fri
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $18-$25 per hour

Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the precision marking, cutting, and terminaling of wire to meet specific customer orders and program specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate wire processing machinery, including cutting, stripping, and marking equipment according to drawing specifications.
- Quality & Maintenance: Maintain high levels of productivity and quality. You will be responsible for the care of perishable tooling fixtures and tracking machine maintenance using existing logs.
- Technical Execution: Strip wire using stripping machines and crimping presses. Stage work orders and ensure all "PR" status wire/tubing orders are finished daily.
- Technical Oversight: Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
- Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with setting up production personnel on the work floor as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Measurement Precision: Ability to use and read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, and scales. Knowledge of computer micrometers and magnifying aids is essential.
- Math & Literacy: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English. Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and the ability to convert units of measurement.
- Technical Insight: Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues using critical thinking.
- Detail-Oriented: A high level of attention to detail and strong time management skills are required to meet daily production deadlines.
