Looking for a Lead Mechanic Who Can Take Charge

If you’re the person others go to when something won’t start, won’t move, or just isn’t right, this role is for you.

We’re hiring a hands-on Lead Diesel Mechanic to support multiple shop locations. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be on the floor, solving problems, supporting your team, and keeping equipment moving.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead 2nd shift workflow across one or more shop locations
• Perform hands-on diesel and trailer repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues quickly and accurately
• Support and guide other mechanics on the floor
• Open and manage repair orders (TMT or similar systems)
• Assist with breakdowns and communicate with internal teams as needed
• Ensure DOT and OSHA compliance standards are met
• Keep jobs moving while maintaining quality and safety

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with diesel engines and/or trailer repair
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Leadership experience or someone ready to step into a lead role
• Ability to work independently and help guide a team
• Willingness to travel between Cudahy, Waukesha, and Caledonia locations
•
