POSITION – Technical Assembler
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm). Overtime is dependent on business needs.
STARTING PAY – $17.00 to $19.00 per hour or more (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Minimum 1 year previous work in a manufacturing setting or as an Assembly Operator is desired, prefer work in injection molding, sheet metal manufacturing, or other mechanical assembly
As a Technical Assembler, you will complete detailed assembly of small, complex components into subassemblies. This role involves using hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and testing equipment to perform a sequence of operations and ensure parts are assembled accurately.
Responsibilities
- Support precision assembly operations requiring specialized training and high-quality standards
- Complete certification in a specialty skill area
- Assemble complex components with accuracy (drilling, deburring, countersinking, riveting, fastening)
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Ensure proper fit, alignment, and functional performance of parts
- Use hand and pneumatic tools safely and effectively
- Utilize fixtures for positioning, bonding, and drilling components
- Perform detailed and repetitive assembly tasks with strong dexterity and mechanical skill
- Complete ERP documentation (job tracking, issuing components/hardware)
- Conduct quality inspections and document results
- Report issues with quality, materials, equipment, or processes
- Maintain organized work area using 6S standards
- Pull and manage inventory with accuracy
- Package finished parts carefully for shipment
- Support continuous improvement in safety and quality
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a metal manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and documents
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; fractions & decimals)
- Read and interpret prints and work orders
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
