Quality Technician (1st Shift)

What You’ll Do
- Support process control across melt, core, molding, and cleaning operations
- Monitor and update procedures based on process or equipment changes
- Track and report scrap, returns, and quality issues
- Lead daily scrap review meetings and drive corrective actions
- Evaluate customer returns and identify root causes
- Participate in weekly quality and stop-job meetings
- Track and manage samples (new and existing) through production
- Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and BOMs
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Serve as backup support to the metallurgical lab
What You Bring
- High school diploma required
- 5–7 years of quality or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
- Experience with process documentation, auditing, or quality systems
- Solid math and computer skills
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership of work
