Pay: $22.00–$23.00/hour, Depending on Experience

Position Summary
Are you detail-oriented with a strong background in quality inspection and manufacturing? SEEK Careers/Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Inspector in Schofield, WI! This opportunity combines hands-on quality inspection of precision-manufactured components with electronic document control responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined metal, plastic, and aerospace composite parts and assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in accordance with AS9102 standards.
- Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and inspection fixtures.
- Identify defects, dimensional inaccuracies, and nonconforming materials.
- Complete inspection reports, quality records, product audits, and testing documentation.
- Maintain product, material, and calibration traceability.
- Communicate quality concerns with production, purchasing, and management.
- Administer the M-Files electronic document management system.
- Maintain document revisions, approvals, workflows, permissions, and records.
- Ensure drawings, procedures, and manufacturing documents remain accurate, current, and properly controlled.
- Assist employees with document retrieval, system functionality, and M-Files training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of assembly and/or quality control experience.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or packaging experience preferred.
- Experience inspecting machined, molded, or composite components preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspections and ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with M-Files or electronic document management systems beneficial.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Work Environment
- On-site position combining manufacturing quality inspections and office-based document control.
- Manufacturing areas may be noisy.
- Safety glasses required.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to frequently push/pull up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
