Position – Press Brake Programmer/Operator
Job Location – Eau Claire, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 4:30pm, Mon-Thurs)
Starting Pay – Based on Experience

Required Education – None
Required Experience – Previous programming and operating Brake Press experience required
This hands-on role involves preparing materials, tools, and components for assembly, ensuring parts are ready for the final production process. If you enjoy working with tools, maintaining a safe workspace, and contributing to a high-quality manufacturing process, this position is for you!
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and program press brake machines, with a strong focus on Safan equipment
- Perform and adjust CNC programming for accurate bends and consistent part quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
- Select proper tooling and complete machine setups independently
- Operate foot pedals and controls safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards
- Troubleshoot setup, programming, and forming issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality expectations
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before they move to the next stage
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production flow
Qualifications
- Previous Brake Press programming and operating experience required, Safan Press Brake experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment focused on quality and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, with a solid work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including tasks requiring large and small manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
