POSITION – Grinder

JOB LOCATION – Saukville, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire and Long-Term Temporary

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) –  1st Shift (7:00am – 3:30pm)

STARTING PAY – $19 per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – At least 1 years of experience

Under the direction of the Grinders lead, the Grinder level one machinist learns and applies the basic methods of inspection to consistently meet production rates.

Responsibilities

·      Comply with company policy and procedures

·      Consistently run and meet production rates as identified on production routing or instructed by a supervisor

·      Learn the basic methods of inspection and be able to use basic inspection equipment

·      Learn the basic machine operation skills of the davenport area

·      Perform duties in a manner which is consistent with the production of quality products

·      Ability to use basic calculator

·      Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours

·      Good mechanical skills

Qualifications

·      Understanding of blueprints and routers.

·      Excellent communication and basic math skills.

·      Commitment to excellence and high standards

·      Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

·      Ability to manage priorities and workflow

·      Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

·      Acute attention to detail

·      Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.

·      Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

·      Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions

·      Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
