Forklift Operator
Are you a specialized Forklift Operator who excels at high-volume pallet movement? We are looking for a dedicated Turret Truck Operator for a temporary assignment in Milwaukee. This position is specifically for an operator who enjoys staying on the machine and moving pallets in narrow-aisle racking throughout the entire shift. Temp to hire positions may become available for the right candidate.
Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Employment Term: Temporary with temp to hire opportunities
Shift: 1st shift (8am-4pm Monday-Friday) or 3rd shift (midnight-8am Sunday-Thursday)
Pay: $25 an hour
Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Pallet Movement: The primary focus of this role is operating a Stand-Up Turret Truck to move, stack, and retrieve pallets of products.
- Narrow-Aisle Navigation: Safely and efficiently maneuver through very narrow aisles to keep up with production and shipping demands.
- Continuous Operation: Maintain a steady pace of pallet placement and retrieval, ensuring the warehouse flow remains uninterrupted for the duration of the shift.
- Safety & Precision: Use a high level of concentration to handle heavy pallet loads at heights while adhering to all facility safety protocols.
What You Bring to the Team
- Turret Truck Expertise: Must have 1 years of recent, consistent experience specifically on a Turret Truck/forklift/Swing-Reach forklift.
- Stamina for Machine Work: Comfortable and capable of operating a stand-up machine for the full 8 hour shift.
- Proven Reliability: Excellent attendance record is required, as the team relies on this role to keep inventory moving.
- Safety First: A history of accident-free operation in high-density, narrow-aisle environments.
