Position – Floor Technician
Job Location – Johnson Creek, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 5:00pm)
Starting Pay – $20-$25/hr Depends on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
This role includes sanding gymnasium floors, painting game lines and logos, sealing and finishing, installing and repairs, core drilling volleyball sleeves, installing base and transition plates. Every week can be different as we travel to the school or facility where we will be working, performing a range of tasks. Most work sites are located nearby and we return to the shop every day. Work schedule is 40-45 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime. Some projects require out of town stays and returning after completion or at the end of the week. Summers can be very busy as this is the time when schools shut down and flooring projects can be completed.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone that has applicable skills. Some flooring history is a plus, willing to train. Must have general knowledge of hand and power tool use. Carpentry experience is a plus but not necessary. We work side by side to teach you the skills you need to be successful.
