Summary

Essential Job Duties
- Prepare and help deliver high-quality lessons that provide academic and social enrichment to students! Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe learning environment for students daily.
- Participate in the training and development offered through SEEDS to comply with DHS/LARA after schoolwork place requirements and grow as a childcare provider.
- Invest in the students and in the program so both can be more successful.
- During the school year - 4 days per week, 3-4 hours per day.
- Summer - 6-week program work hours: 4 days per week, 6-7 hours per day. There may be some variations due to site specific needs.
- $15/hr
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.
- Ability to hike on uneven terrain for up to 3 hours and run for short periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs regularly.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, pick up items and easily get up and down from the floor to a standing position.
- Ability/willingness to spend up to an hour outdoors in summer and winter temperatures and all-weather conditions.
- Ability to hear sounds and recognize difference between them.
- Ability to work well with youth.
- Self-motivated/independent worker.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
- Must be certified or willing to certify in CPR/First Aid.
