Job Description: Full Time Toddler Co-Lead

SEE in Brandon, SD is seeking a Full Time Toddler Co-Lead to join our team of dedicated educators. In this role, you will work alongside the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years old. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a warm and caring demeanor, and experience working with young children.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddlers
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
• Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and other basic care routines
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and positive learning environment
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or early childhood education setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Patient, caring, and compassionate demeanor
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
