Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inside Office Assistant / Orthotic Fitter / Outside Inventory specialist to join our dedicated healthcare team. Duties
- Assist with patient intake processes, including gathering necessary information and verifying insurance details
- Conduct orthotic fittings by measuring, customizing, and adjusting devices to meet individual patient needs
- Manage outside inventory by tracking supplies, ordering new stock, and maintaining organized storage areas
- Educate patients on orthotic device usage, care instructions, and proper fitting techniques to promote optimal outcomes
Skills
- Strong organizational skills and computer skills
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) products (can be taught)
- Excellent customer service skills
