Bellevue, NE Full Time
POSTED ON 9/8/2026

Patient Care Coordinator - Healthcare / Sports Medicine

See The Trainer - Bellevue is a growing orthopedic and durable medical equipment company serving physicians, clinics, hospitals, therapists, athletic programs, and patients across five states.

We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who is outgoing, organized, dependable, and enjoys helping people.

You do not need years of medical-office experience to be successful here. Some of our strongest team members have come from backgrounds in public health, kinesiology, exercise science, athletics, hospitality, customer service, office support, and other people-focused roles.

If you are a recent college graduate, former student-athlete, or someone looking to build a career in healthcare, this can be an excellent opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.

What You'll Do

·      Welcome patients and help them through the process of receiving orthopedic braces and medical equipment.

·      Communicate with physician offices, clinics, therapists, and other healthcare partners.

·      Review prescriptions, patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.

·      Help patients understand insurance coverage, benefits, and their financial responsibility.

·      Fit and educate patients on orthopedic braces and other medical equipment after training.

·      Enter patient and order information accurately into company systems.

·      Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and coordinate follow-up.

·      Assist with insurance authorization and documentation requirements.

·      Work closely with billing, inventory, delivery, and clinic-relations team members.

·      Help keep the office clean, organized, professional, and patient-focused.

·      Learn our products, insurance processes, and healthcare workflows.

Who We're Looking For

We care more about attitude, communication, reliability, and willingness to learn than whether you already know the DME industry.

·      Enjoys working with people and making them feel comfortable.

·      Communicates confidently and professionally.

·      Is organized and able to manage several things at once.

·      Pays attention to details.

·      Is willing to make mistakes, learn from them quickly, and ask good questions.

·      Takes ownership instead of waiting for someone to tell them every next step.

·      Enjoys being part of a team.

·      Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

·      Wants responsibility and an opportunity to grow.
