Role Description
This role can be designed as a part time or shared sales representation for See the Elephant Amaro. The goal for this position is quite simple - introduce See the Elephant to new accounts with a focus on premise, but also off premise. See the Elephant is new to the market so there is plenty of opportunity. In addition to opening new accounts, the goal will be to increase sales with menu placements, cocktail listings and conducting tastings in the off premise. They may be some event work as well. See the Elephant needs to generate awareness with the trade and build relationships with customers and partners.
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
- Visit 10-20 accounts per week to introduce See the Elephant Amaro
- Secure purchase commitments from on and off premise accounts - split time 60% on premise and 40% off premise
- Develop relationships with key decision makers for menu listings
- Work with distributor reps and communicate with the distributor to ensure flawless execution and commitments generated actually happen
- Represent See the Elephant Amaro in the marketplace
- Be the most knowledgeable person in this market on See the Elephant Amaro
- Be detail oriented, carry yourself with professionalism and confidence
Compensation
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Monthly Fee with Bonuses for Big Wins and Target Goals

Qualifications
- Curiosity and interest in spirits, especially amaro
- Experience in hospitality, bar/restaurants, beverage alcohol/spirits sales
- Sales and marketing skills
- Enjoy talking about the brand, amaro as a category and spirits
- Be helpful to retailers, bars and restaurants - provide value to your audience
- Knowledge of pricing and deals for off and on premise accounts
- Quick on your feet - be able to put yourself in you audiences shoes
- Organized and detail oriented
- Bring a positive, can-do, attitude - solve problems/issues/objections
- Build and maintain relationships
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Experience in brand promotion and ambassadorship
- Valid drivers license
