Head of Discovery & Growth

See Me Please
Seattle, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/29/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/26/2026

We're looking for someone who has spent their career in accessibility, user research, or design, who has taken pride in the digital experiences they've shaped within big enterprise organisations but wants to break free to the shackles that come with big organisations.

We're excited to hire our first US Region Front of House roles to open doors, build partnerships, and establish credibility in a market that spans some of the worlds best designers who want to create better products, who are becoming increasingly aware, and increasingly hungry for what we do.

This is a 'sales' role. But not the kind that makes your skin crawl.

'Growth' not 'Gross'. You've probably been on the other side of a vendor relationship at some point. You know the difference between someone who genuinely understands your world and someone who's just mapped your reporting line and learned enough jargon to sound credible for 45 minutes. We don't want that person. And frankly, our customers would see through them in about ten minutes.

What we need is someone who has lived and worked in accessibility, research, or design long enough to walk into a conversation with the Head of Design for the worlds biggest banks, government agencies, universities or insurers and can immediately speak their language. Not because you've been briefed on their pain points, but because you've felt them yourself.

This role sits at the intersection of growth, partnerships, and delivery. You'll be building relationships with people who care deeply about the universal usability of their services, who are genuinely invested in customer feedback, not just checking a compliance box. Your credibility is the thing that opens doors. Your curiosity is what keeps them open and generates value.

You'll own big chunks of the US market from day one. That means building the pipeline, showing up in the right rooms, shaping proposals, coordinating delivery, and making sure what we promise actually lands. There's no handoff culture here. You'll be close to the work throughout.

If you're looking for a role where you set strategy and delegate the doing, this isn't it. If you want to be the person who builds something real, closes deals you actually believe in, and stays involved long enough to see the impact, we should talk.

Why See Me Please

We’re not accessibility experts - we're building the platform that connects organisations with people who have lived experience.

While we’re a startup, we have exceptional backing. We are supported by equity-free funding from the Australian Government, recognising the innovation value of our product promises. We are now at a pivotal moment: very early, with proven enterprise customers, and we're now intentionally investing in product depth, repeatability and revenue growth as we scale into our first international markets.

And finally, the team. No startup cosplay here. We’re a small group of seasoned technologists and operators who’ve consciously escaped big-org bureaucracy to build something meaningful, modern, and refreshingly unburdened by process for process’s sake.

What You Bring

  • Background in accessibility consulting, UX research, service design, design or a related field... this is what makes you credible in the room, even though with our product you're not actually the expert
  • Experience working in or an openness to selling into government, higher education, banking, or insurance sectors (our sales approach is unique and puts those our platform serves at the heart)
  • Comfort operating in a startup environment where you'll build things from scratch and make decisions with incomplete information and a cool but evolving product
  • A genuine belief in the mission...that designing for the margins be it those who have disabilities, those users who are older or those who rely on translation actually improves the universal usability for all customers
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organisations
  • Entrepreneurial energy with the follow-through to close deals and see projects land well

If you've spent your career in accessibility or design and you're ready to channel that expertise into growth, this may be the most impactful experience of your career.
