Senior HVAC Technician
Branford, CT
$32–$60/hour DOE
Full-Time | Permanent Position
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician for a full-time, permanent opportunity in the Branford, CT area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems and equipment
- Perform advanced service and maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
- Install HVAC equipment and system components as needed
- Work on furnaces, boilers, rooftop units, chillers, heat pumps, mini-splits, and commercial systems
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences
- Train and mentor junior technicians when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local codes, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and management
Qualifications:
- 5 years of HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with commercial and/or high-end residential HVAC systems
- EPA Certification required or preferred
- Experience with controls and electrical diagnostics is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and lead in the field when needed
