Job Title: Inside Sales Representative – HVAC & Plumbing Supplies & Equipment
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 Base Commission
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Bridgeport, CT. This role is ideal for someone with experience in HVAC, plumbing, or wholesale distribution who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. You will work directly with contractors, technicians, and business owners to provide product solutions, generate sales, and support ongoing customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with HVAC and plumbing contractors
- Process inbound sales inquiries and generate outbound sales opportunities
- Recommend products, parts, and equipment based on customer needs
- Prepare quotes, enter orders, and follow up to close sales
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely delivery
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, pricing, and availability
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
Qualifications:
- 2 years of inside sales experience (HVAC, plumbing, or wholesale distribution preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing supplies and equipment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of customer requests
- Proficient with computer systems and order entry platforms
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)
