Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test innovative RV components and systems, including body structures, chassis, powertrain, electrical, plumbing, and interior elements.
- Apply engineering expertise to powertrain system development, integration, and performance optimization.
- Contributes to the creation of cutting-edge technologies and new product solutions that advance the RV industry.
- Translate owner and market insights into actionable design improvements and novel product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, sales, procurement, and quality—to implement and refine engineering solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, CAD drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable safety, quality, and industry regulatory standards.
- Lead or contribute to multiple concurrent innovation and product development projects.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies, including sustainable and alternative powertrain solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during product development, testing, and production phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Product Design Engineering (or related field).
- Several years of experience in product design or engineering, ideally in the RV, automotive, marine, or aerospace industries.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with powertrain systems and their integration into vehicle platforms.
- Proven ability to drive innovation and contribute to the development of new products and technologies.
- Proficiency with CAD and engineering tools, as well as knowledge of systems integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
