Part Time year round front desk position, must be flexible with days and hours
Position duties include:
Check-in and check-out guests while providng the highest of customer ser
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Handle guest check-ins/check-outs in accordance with the property's credit/cash handling policies in an efficient and friendly manner
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms, if needed
- Respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient and courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum guest satisfaction while complying with all standard operating procedures and policies
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm reservations & Make Pre Arrival Calls
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Degree in hotel management is a plus
