Position Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to support the effectiveness, organization, and reliability of the Maintenance function through strong administrative control, documentation, planning support, and data management.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for maintaining maintenance records, supporting preventive maintenance (PM) programs, managing work order documentation, tracking spare parts and assets, and supporting compliance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance operations.
This role works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, EHS, and Finance to ensure maintenance systems are accurate, standardized, and aligned with operational priorities.
There will be orientation training on all ISO certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and CMMS work orders to meet internal and audit standards.
- Support preventive maintenance (PM) program creation, scheduling, tracking, and compliance follow-up.
- Maintain spare parts records and BOMs, and support inventory coordination, cycle counts, and reorder activities.
- Assist with maintenance planning and scheduling, including weekly/monthly schedules and coordination with Operations to minimize downtime.
- Maintain safety and compliance documentation (lockout/tagout, inspections, certifications) and support EHS/Quality audits.
- Track and report maintenance KPIs and dashboards, and coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, EHS, and Finance.
Required Experience / Skills:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience using CMMS systems (SAP, MaintainX, Fiix, UpKeep, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
