ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE Sorts, counts/weighs and scans all returned product contained within the confines of a return, in accordance with specific departmental procedures, on a daily basis. Responsible for the timeliness of processing-controlled substance and non-control substance returns. Reads necessary documentation to determine types and quantities of material to measure/count. Maintains the integrity of all documentation that is provided within the return, and properly records the information according to departmental procedures. Dispositions materials as prescribed by the training guidelines. Assists with the shipping and receiving of pharmaceutical product when required. Adheres to all occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) safety regulations and maintain compliance to all operational and regulatory standard of practice procedures. Responsible for following all drug enforcement administration (DEA) documentation and procedures. Adheres to strict security procedures as well as compliance with the code of conduct provided within the colleague handbook. Work in the DEA security cage when requested but may be required to assist with work in other departments of the building and be willing to comply with various departmental procedures as requested. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the organization's quality program(s). Travels as required. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School diploma preferred or GED required. Must complete biological hazard and waste training. Must submit to Hepatitis B vaccinations or a waiver. Experience: One (1) years’ experience in a manufacturing or processing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Skills & Knowledge: Demonstrates the ability to review and proofread work for accuracy and completes specific areas of assignments, as directed.
