You’ll lead multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and project partners from start to finish.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager (prefabricated interior construction - DIRTT) position based in Rochester, NY. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, inspecting and supervising installations, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The role requires ensuring efficient resource allocation while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll do:
- Own project execution from kickoff through final closeout
- Build and manage budgets, schedules, and timelines
- Review drawings, production details, and order accuracy prior to release
- Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and installation sequencing
- Lead pre-installation meetings and align all stakeholders
- Work closely with general contractors, trades, and field teams on-site
- Oversee installation progress and ensure quality standards are met
- Support RFIs and quickly resolve project questions
- Manage punch lists and drive clean, efficient project closeouts
- Deliver final documentation and ensure a smooth client handoff
Qualifications:
- Experience managing commercial construction or interior projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (a core part of similar roles)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable reading drawings and managing documentation
- Ability to coordinate across GCs, trades, vendors, and internal teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
