INTRODUCTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an MSE, you will work as an integral part of our engineering team – composed of other MSEs, software engineers, and systems architects – to help deliver a powerful, highly-innovative product.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Architect and implement efficient simulation engines capable of capturing the complex subsystem interdependencies that exist in current space hardware
- Research and implement cutting-edge parallel and distributed simulation technologies to deliver a responsive, cloud-native spacecraft digital twins
- Build powerful, highly-interoperable yet intuitive clients that can be used by engineers throughout the space industry
- Identify areas of improvement throughout the service and implement high-impact enhancements
- Contribute back to open-source projects

LOCATION
Our offices are located in the Ballston-Rosslyn urban corridor in Arlington, Virginia – just over the Potomac River from Georgetown and in close proximity to great Northern Virginia and Washington, DC neighborhoods for both young professionals and families. We are just a few blocks from the Washington and Old-Dominion Trail, I-66, and the Ballston Metro Station (on the Orange and Silver Lines), providing easy access for commuting by car, bike, or public transit.
