What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Truck Driver position at Sedam Tire?
Duties And Responsibilities Include
Responding promptly to calls for emergency roadside assistance
Identifying the problem and providing the necessary assistance such as changing flat tires or arranging towing a vehicle to a repair shop
Ensuring the safety of the motorist and any passengers while repairs are being made
Keeping accurate records of service calls, including details of the problem, the services provided, and any charges
Communicating with dispatchers and other drivers to share information about road conditions and call details
Performing regular maintenance and safety checks on the service vehicle
Providing excellent customer service, making the motorist feel reassured and taken care of
Understanding and following all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements
Class D (or better) Driver's License
TIA Certification Preferred, But Not Required
Previous related experience helpful, but will train (To include in shop and on the road training)
Starting Pay: $19-$22/hour, depending on experience
