Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Security Researcher, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area with opportunities for remote work. The Security Researcher will be responsible for conducting in-depth security research, analyzing software vulnerabilities, performing malware analysis, and engaging in reverse engineering. The role also involves contributing to application security initiatives and staying ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Security Research
- Expertise in Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Application Security practices and techniques
- Ability to identify and address software vulnerabilities effectively
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, such as Python, C, or Assembly, is a plus
- Experience in reporting and documenting security issues and recommendations
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, GIAC, CEH) are an advantage
