Position Summary: SecurityStudio & the Academy Program is now seeking an Account Executive, who will be responsible for selling the services that SecurityStudio Academy provides to external parties, guiding opportunities through the entire sales process, from cold outreach to closed deals. This position drives the growth and revenue of the organization through gaining new business, and is focused on finding, developing, and building new business services to new and existing clients.
Working Location: This position is available on a full-time remote or hybrid basis in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Only candidates located in the United States will be considered.

What Your Day Looks Like As An Account Executive
Travel: There may be occasional day or overnight trips in which this position would be asked to participate in including trade shows, prospect or client events, conferences, or other sales travel. Travel is minimal and typically less than 10-15%.

What Your Day Looks Like As An Account Executive
- Target prospective clients and perform cold calls in an effort to win new business
- Perform introductory calls with clients and begin to establish a professional relationship
- Review proposals to ensure accuracy of information
- Strive to close deals and contract work to grow the revenue of the organization
- Serve as a key contributor in the full sales cycle in partnership with the SecurityStudio Academy team, from initial contact through to negotiation and closing
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual closed sales quota
- Regularly attend sales and product knowledge training
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Network and build relationships with clients and prospects
- Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive client information or navigating complex sales scenarios

Requirements
What You Bring to the Account Executive Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer success, or marketing
- Additional certifications in sales and/or information technology are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to align products and services available to client needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solutions (i.e. Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Clear, concise, and confident communicator
- Demonstrate curiosity, self-driven initiative, and thrive on building new relationships
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet customer and business needs
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required; HubSpot is a plus
