Unarmed Security Officer, Corporate Headquarters Security (Evenings & Weekends)

SecurityRI is hiring a professional Unarmed Security Officer for a corporate headquarters security assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. This position is responsible for providing after-hours security coverage through routine patrols, monitoring facility access, and maintaining a professional security presence while protecting personnel, property, and company assets.

This position is best suited for an officer who is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Officers must be comfortable conducting both interior and exterior patrols, documenting daily activity, and maintaining a safe, secure environment during non-business hours.

Shift Available:

• Weekdays

5:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekends

Continuous coverage from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM

• Additional holiday coverage may be available based on client needs.

Position Overview:

Officers assigned to this location are responsible for maintaining a secure environment throughout the facility during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Duties include conducting scheduled interior and exterior patrols, monitoring building access, documenting daily activity, identifying safety concerns, and providing a professional presence throughout the property.

This is a technology-forward environment. All reporting, attendance, and incident documentation are completed through company-provided mobile applications. Every shift begins and ends with a digital clock-in through our attendance platform, and officers are expected to complete all required reporting accurately before the conclusion of each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the property.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior foot patrols.
• Monitor facility access points during afterhours operations.
• Perform routine inspections for safety, security, and maintenance concerns.
• Complete all digital clockin and clockout procedures through company mobile applications.
• Submit detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports through our reporting platform.
• Notify supervisors, client contacts, or emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all significant activities occurring during the shift.
• Conduct thorough shift passdowns when applicable.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent both the client and SecurityRI at all times.

What We Are Looking For:

Strong communication and report writing skills are essential for this assignment. Officers must be capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, and maintaining professionalism throughout the shift. Candidates should be proactive, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while protecting the client's facility.

Previous experience in corporate security, commercial office buildings, industrial facilities, access control, or similar security environments is preferred but not required.

Technology Requirements:

All officers must own or have consistent access to a smartphone capable of running our patrol and reporting applications. Prior to deployment, SecurityRI provides training on our digital attendance platform, Daily Activity Report system, QR patrol verification system, and incident reporting software. Officers are expected to use these systems consistently throughout every shift.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid governmentissued identification.
• Valid driver's license with ownership of a personal vehicle
• Smartphone capable of utilizing company applications.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting patrols.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of a National & State background check.
