Job Summary: Security company seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for a long-term front desk post in a private community in Hallandale Beach. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, possesses strong attention to detail, and excels in a customer-service-oriented environment. This role is ideal for a candidate who can balance established protocols with the sound professional judgment needed to handle real-world situations effectively.
Schedule:
Full Time or Part Time
8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am
Key Responsibilities:
· Access Control and Documentation: Use site-specific cameras systems to secure the area. Training provided for all digital platforms, guard logs, and on-site camera systems.
· Communication and Discretion: Maintain accurate activity logs and facilitate communication between the desk and community leadership. Requires the ability to use phone and text to coordinate with board members. Must demonstrate high-level discretion and tact.
· Resident and Guest Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for the community with professional, clear, and courteous communication.
· Post Integrity: Maintain a clean and organized guardhouse, ensuring a professional condition for the following shift.
· Protocol and Problem Solving: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures while possessing the professional maturity to recognize when a unique situation requires an adaptive approach.
Position Requirements:
· Valid Florida Class D Security License.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
· Polished appearance and neutral, professional demeanor.
· Proficiency with smartphone applications and basic computer systems.
· Fluent in English (written and verbal).
