Residential Security Officer

Security USA is now hiring for a Residential Property in Astoria, Queens NY, prior residential experience NEEDED, especially with working as a Door Guard or as Front Desk Concierge with customer service experience.

This position requires attention to customer service and to be able to communicate well with guest and residents and complete patrols of the site area.

Job duties required but not limited to:

* Checking ID's, contacting residents, filling out logbooks, ability to write incident reports, assist residents with packages, attention to any suspicious activity.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Ability to carry out instructions, WRITE INCIDENT REPORTS, fill out logbooks hourly, attention to detail and suspicious activity. Ability to provide high quality customer service is a MUST.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a Valid Guard Card
• 2 years of prior Security, Concierge or Doorman experience is preferred
• Must have EXCELLENT Customer Service Skills!
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell or home phone)
• Must have RELIABLE transportation
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to deliver instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Be an effective team member and have courteous telephone manners.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
