Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, well‑trained, and able to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to deter, detect, and prevent security threats
- Monitor access points
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Control access to facilities and verify identification
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement when required
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Armed Security License (Texas Level III or equivalent, if applicable)
- Valid Firearms Certification
- Clean criminal background (background check required)
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Prior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong communication and de‑escalation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
