Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Technician will install, maintain, and repair integrated security and fire protection systems for residential and commercial clients. Daily responsibilities will include wiring and assembling equipment, system programming, conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in installation, wiring, and assembly of security systems
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment
- Knowledge of fire protection and integrated security systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work hands-on and on-site in a team or independently
- Familiarity with safety standards, codes, and compliance regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Prior experience in the security, electrical, or similar technical fields is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
