What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Inspector/ Quality Control position at Security Signals, Inc.?
We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector. Work is in a manufacturing plant that makes threaded metal parts.
The inspector will :
- Use gages and inspection equipment to measure material dimensions.
- Perform work as specified on inspection sheets, drawings and/or work instructions during receiving inspections, in-process inspections, and final assembly inspections.
- Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting
- Assist with in coming receiving inspections and in process (at work stations and production areas) inspections, and other related duties as assigned.
- Walking, Lifting, bending, and some repetitive motion may be required.
Candidate must have the following skills:
- General knowledge of the use of gages (calipers, indicators, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to measure material dimensions and understand their tolerance ranges
- General knowledge of SPC, Quality Plans and Programs
- Verbal and Written Communications Skills with Basic Computer Skills

Monday- Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm. Some overtime on Fridays as required.
